Berberine HCl is bought off a spec sheet. On a standard assay, botanical and synthetic berberine can look identical, while origin and processing stay unclear.
Nuvea needed an ingredient name it could own, and a way to put origin and processing evidence in front of procurement teams.
HPLC confirms what it is. C-14 helps confirm where it came from.
What we did.
ARISTABERB is Nuvea Essentials' clean-label berberine HCl ingredient for brands. The name moved from Aquaberb to Hydroberb to ARISTABERB. We drew the logo routes, set the plum-and-coral wordmark and built a B2B microsite around the proof.
Start with water
Aquaberb and Hydroberb both pointed at the water-only extraction. Aquaberb got a drop-and-leaf mark. Hydroberb got three emblem routes and nine rounded wordmarks.
Move to the plant
ARISTABERB takes its first half from the source species, Berberis aristata. It keeps the rounded letters and the plum and coral of the last Hydroberb round.
Put the story in two letters
The first A is a mountain peak. The second carries a water line.
Build the site like a spec sheet
Ingredient card, origin verification, botanical provenance, a parameter table and a six-part release pack. One action: request the technical pack.
Chapter by chapter.
3 chapters, in the order the brand was built.
Aquaberb, then Hydroberb, then ARISTABERB
The first two names pointed at the process: water-only extraction. Aquaberb got a drop-and-leaf mark. Hydroberb got three emblem routes (Himalayan seal, river valley, botanical slab) and then nine rounded wordmarks.
The last Hydroberb round settled the letterforms and the plum and coral. The name then moved to the plant.

The ARISTABERB wordmark
Soft rounded capitals. ARISTA in plum, BERB in coral. The first A is a mountain with a peak; the second A carries a teal water line.

A microsite for procurement teams
One long page in the order a buyer asks questions: what it is, how it is made, how origin is checked, where the root comes from, what the spec says and what comes with every lot.
It ends in one action: request the technical pack.
