Health books about weight share a crowded shelf. This one makes a specific argument: the shots work, so why does the weight come back, and what natural routes have real evidence behind them.
The design had to read as serious non-fiction from across a room, and keep 156 pages of argument and study citations easy to follow.
If a book grades its own evidence, the page should show the grade.
What we did.
Dr. Rajesh Kumar Singh, a functional medicine practitioner, wrote a book on helping the body make more of its own GLP-1. We designed the cover, typeset all 156 pages and designed the "Proof grade" callout that flags the evidence behind each claim.
A type-only cover
No stock imagery. The title fills the cover in cream, with GLP-1 in vermilion on deep green. "An evidence-first health book" sits above it.
Routes before the pick
Three alternative routes in condensed type: vermilion and oxblood, ultramarine and saffron, emerald and copper. The green cover went forward.
A quiet interior
Serif text set for long reading. Chapter openers get a kicker, a large title and a short rule. Key lines are pulled out in italics with a vertical bar.
The Proof grade box
A grey panel with a black tag, a plain-English verdict and the study in italics. Readers can see the grade before they read the claim.
A back cover that asks
The book's question set in the cover type, four points on what is inside and a short author note.
Chapter by chapter.
5 chapters, in the order the brand was built.
Type does the work
The front cover is all title: THE NATURAL in cream, GLP-1 in vermilion, METHOD in cream, on deep green. The subtitle sits in a soft italic serif under it.
The back cover repeats the system with the book's question, four "inside" points and the author note.

Three routes in condensed type
Alongside the green, we explored three bolder routes with a tall condensed title, a diagonal colour block and a fine curved line: vermilion and oxblood, ultramarine and saffron, emerald and copper.

156 pages, four parts, seventeen chapters
The contents run from Part I, The Promise and the Catch, to Part IV, Making It Last, then Resources & Reference. Part openers are centred and spare; chapter openers carry a kicker, a large serif title and a short rule.

The Proof grade box
The book grades every important claim on a three-point scale: proven in people, emerging, or mechanism only. We gave the grade its own element: a grey panel with a thick left rule, a black tag, a plain verdict and the study in italics.
It repeats through the book, so a reader can scan for the grade before reading the argument.

Three studio scenes for launch
We rendered the green cover with its spine in three settings: a clean studio, a table flat lay and a launch stack.
